Exceeding in National Quality Standards

We are very pleased to announce that Tecoma Preschool has received an overall rating of Exceeding the National Quality Standard.

Tecoma Preschool was assessed under the National Quality Framework by the Department of Education. Ratings are determined by assessing a service’s performance against 58 standards across seven quality areas outlined in the National Quality Standard (NQS). Each of the seven quality areas is assessed individually.

There are five possible ratings a service can receive:

Excellent (awarded at a national level – all other ratings are awarded at a state level)
Exceeding National Quality Standard
Meeting National Quality Standard
Working Towards National Quality Standard
Significant Improvement Required
