Lauren Mair
4-year-old Teacher / Educational Leader
Since completing her Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies at the University of Melbourne in 2004, Lauren has been working full-time in the field. Lauren marked her 17th year as Educational Leader/4-year-old Teacher at Tecoma Preschool in 2025!

Jo Cleeman
4-year-old Teacher / Education Leader
Jo has worked at the kinder since 2007. She has worked extensively with the 4-year-old groups over this time and currently runs the extended session on a Thursday afternoon.
Jo completed her Certificate III in Children’s Services in 2013 and her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care in 2014.
Previously, Jo was involved with the kinder as a parent, participating on the preschool committee in many roles including fundraising, secretary and president.

Sami Biggs
3-year-old Teacher / Educational Leader
Sami started her journey at Tecoma Preschool in 2019, taking on the position of 3-year-old Activity Group Leader. Sami has a Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
“I am so excited to be working at Tecoma Preschool. Being part of a team that is so supportive and caring makes work so enjoyable. I look forward to making memories with the children and their families during their time at Tecoma and hope to make a positive impact on the young children’s start of education.”
Alina Karpovich
3 & 4-year-old Educator
Alina started working with us in 2020. She also assists Jo in the 4-Year-Old Extended Session run on a Thursday Afternoon.
Alina has a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Amelia Anderson
3 & 4-year-old Educator
Amelia started working with us in 2022 alongside Lauren in the 4-year-old program.
Amelia completed her Graduate Diploma in early Childhood Education in 2021 and her Certificate III in Early childhood education in 2012.
Both of Amelia’s children attended the kindergarten so she was very familiar with the kinder, previous to her coming onboard as staff.

Angela Stagg
4-year-old Educator
Angela completed her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education in 2020.
“I love witnessing the ‘lightbulb moments’ when a child learns something new, whether it’s recognising a letter, solving a puzzle, or learning to share with a friend. Kindergarten is about building confidence, fostering social skills, and sparking creativity. I am committed to helping each child develop a strong foundation that will support their future learning and personal growth”.
